All classes are conducted in English except for Japanese language lessons.　国語以外の授業全てを英語で行います。

An English test will be conducted upon admission. After enrollment, we provide support through the ESL program as needed. 入学時に英語のテストを行います。入学後は必要に応じてESLプログラムでサポートを致します。

GFIS accepts a limited number of students for each grade year-round. Please contact us for more details. 各学年若干名の募集を通年で行っています。詳しくはお問い合わせください。

We offer one-day trial enrollments, which require advance reservations. During the trial, we will observe class participation and other behaviors as part of the admission process.　1日体験入学を受け付けています。事前のご予約が必要です。体験入学では入学試験の一部として授業参加姿勢等を確認させていただきます。

The entrance exam includes English, Math, and an interview, all conducted in English. 英語、算数、面接を実施します。全て英語で行います。

GFIS currently does not have a school uniform. However, students wear a school T-shirt for off-campus activities. 現在GFISに制服はありません。校外学習の際にはスクールTシャツを着用しています。

Bento boxes are available for order at a cost of ¥9,000 per month for those who wish. Students may bring their own lunch. 希望者にはお弁当を注文しています（月9000円）。お弁当の持参も可能です。

Currently, we do not offer a school bus service.現在はスクールバスは運行しておりません。

Currently, we offer after-school care until 6:15 PM. We also plan to expand our extracurricular classes in the future. 現在は18:15まで放課後預かりを実施しています。今後課外クラスを充実させていく予定です。

Classes are generally organized into groups of Grades 1–2, Grades 3–4, and Grades 5–6. Class placement also considers each student’s learning progress. Older students deepen their understanding by helping younger peers, while younger students benefit from observing and learning beyond their current grade level, fostering growth and development. 1・2年、3・4年、5・6年のクラスが基本になります。各生徒の学習進度もみながらクラス編成を行っています。上の学年は下の学年を助ける事で、理解がより深く定着し、下の学年は上の学年を見て、その学年の内容にとどまらない伸びしろのある学びを実践することができます。

The tuition fee, including additional expenses, is ¥85,000 per month. Sibling discounts are available: 15% off for the second child and 20% off for the third child. Each class has a maximum of 16 students with 2 teachers. (In the 2024 academic year, the ratio was 5 students per teacher.) The ratio will never exceed 8 students per teacher. 1クラス定員16名に対して、教師2名体制を実施しています。（2024年度は生徒5：教師１）生徒8：教師１を超えることはありません。

Core subjects are taught by native English speakers who hold teaching qualifications in their home countries. Each teacher has over 10 years of teaching experience. Additionally, all core subject teachers have undergone International Baccalaureate (IB) training. 母国で教師資格を持つ英語ネイティブスピーカーがコア科目を担当しています。それぞれ指導歴は10年以上です。コア科目教師は国際バカロレア（IB）の研修を受けています。

We encourage parental support to help students develop independence in their home learning. For students requiring ESL assistance, additional support in English may be requested.生徒が家庭学習を自律してできるよう、ご家庭のサポートをお願いしています。ESL支援の必要な生徒には、英語のサポートをお願いする場合がございます。
