GFIS implements English medium instruction based on the international education elementary school program.Furthermore, by engaging with the natural surroundings, culture, and people of Nagano, we foster a 'rich spirit' as individuals.

Green Forest International School is a candidate school* for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme and pursuing authorization as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high quality programmes of international education that share a powerful vision.**


*Only schools authorized by the International Baccalaureate can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme or the IB Career-related Certificate (IBCC). **Mission Statement from the IB
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. グリヌンフォレストむンタヌナショナルスクヌルは、囜際バカロレアIBPrimary Years Programmeの候補校※です。本校は、IBワヌルドスクヌルIB認定校ずしおの認定に向けた申請段階にありたす。IBワヌルドスクヌルは、「質の高い、チャレンゞに満ちた囜際教育に信念をもっお取り組む」ずいう理念を共有する孊校です。グリヌンフォレストむンタヌナショナルスクヌルも、このような教育に取り組むこずが、生埒にずっお倧切であるず信じおいたす。

※囜際バカロレア機構より認定を受けた孊校のみが、囜際バカロレア機構の提䟛する4぀のプログラムである「初等教育プログラムPYP」、「䞭等教育プログラムMYP」、「ディプロマプログラムDP」、「キャリア関連プログラムCP」を導入するこずができたす。候補校であるこずは認定を保蚌するものではありたせん。囜際バカロレア機構および囜際バカロレア機構の提䟛するプログラムに関する詳现は www.ibo.org をご確認ください。
